FTP Site We can set up traditional FTP directories for you to upload files directly to our FTP site. Please contact us to create a FTP directory for you. FTP is the easiest way to transfer files between your PC and remote computers. You can move files from your PC to your FTP directories using simple drag-and-drop techniques. There is no limitation to file sizes and the contents of your FTP directories are secured by your own username and password. We recommend you use our FTP site for uploading images to us that are larger than 5mb. FTP should not be used as a place to permanently store files. All files that are over 30 days old are at risk of being deleted. Please make sure that you download all files that you would like to keep prior to the end of every month, or you may not be able to access those files.
Please follow these instructions to use our FTP site. You will need to set up an FTP account (This is done at no charge). To set up an account you will first need to email us a username and password that you would like to use to access the FTP site. We will then email you back after your account is established. This is generally done within 24 hours. Once we have you registered you can then go to ftp.jndphoto.com and login. (If this link does not work, first try refreshing the page. If that doesn't work then you may have to manually type in ftp.jndphoto.com into your address bar. If that still doesn't work, type in ftp.jdphoto.com without a 'n' between the 'j' and 'd'.) You will then be prompted to enter your username and password. Once you are into the ftp site you will initially find a folder named after your username which we created. You can create any folders of your own within your username folder. You can then just drag and drop or copy and paste your file(s) into your folder(s). After you have uploaded your file(s) you will need to then send us an email with instructions.
Package Prints Package prints are assorted sizes of the same image printed on a sheet of paper. We print package prints on glossy or matte paper from any digital file or negative (120, 35mm, or APS). You can bring in your image files on a CD or place an online order. Turnaround time is normally 48 hours but may take longer depending on the size of the order. Refer to the Resolution Guide for proper image file sizes. The digital image should be in 8-bits/channel mode with RGB color. The file type should be JPG or TIFF in IBM PC byte order. Placing Package Print Order: - Download "Package Print Order Form" from File Library .
- Define your own package definitions on the form.
- Specify the desired surface (Matte or Glossy). We use Luster finish for all Matte finish orders.
- Send your negatives or digital files to us with the order form. For digital files, you may use e-mail , FTP or our Digital Drop Box .
